I wanted to create a beach community, so I was inspired by numerous ones, including Virginia Beach, VA, Santa Monica Pier, CA, and of course, The Pike in Long Beach, CA. All my rides (aside from the B&M) are typical rides you would find at a Beach Resort like those I mentioned and others.
Now the technical stuff:
I did make a few modifications mainly due to my poor computer. Map changes are as follows:
1) Waterfall: I had to ditch the waterfall, eats up my wimpy processor.
2) Water depth: I also had to take the depth out of the water…too much water kills my computer….so you will notice that it is rather shallow.
3) The dubious park injection point. The 3rd entry point (the one that goes under the highway) had to be removed as the tunnel doesn’t go all the way underneath the road. This was part of the design that had to be addressed.
4) 1 house. One house had to be torn down to allow road access to the beach community. It was in the way of progress, but they received a decent settlement for relocation 
5) Excavation. I had to excavate the majority of the park, to allow a boardwalk style feel to it. My goal was to create a beach community, and all east coast Beach Resorts have a boardwalk with large hotels overlooking the ocean (I added those as well, but they hide rides and refreshments, so they do have a purpose.
6) Guest generation had to be reduced to 80%…again because of my processor.
Now the good things:
This park is home to Cyclone Racer, a modern remake of a classic defunct single coaster wood dueler. The peeps that watch my vids know that I like to make single coaster duelers, and this park was an opportunity to do another…in wood. It’s modelled roughly after the original Cyclone Racer that resided at “The Pike” in Long Beach, California for 38 years, and YES it did go out over the water. This coaster was also my first attempt at adding wood coaster supports, but only a little…not too much.

THANK YOU for making this simulation of what the Cyclone Racer was like. I was too young to ride it growing up in So. Cal. The great Harry Traver designed and built this. A guy has the original blueprints of it, but he wants a fortune for the rights.

It lived a rather long life for old wood coasters, but in 1968, Nu Pike tore it down. There are some rather fascinating articles about this coaster

I’ve always preferred wodden coasters too, they look better (to me) when built right ex. like they are in the video, long but kept to small space. I also prefer riding and building (in RCT) them too

Thank you, I love the old wood coasters. I just wished I would have had the luxury of riding it. The classics are classics for a reason, and this was quite possibly the best racer coaster ever built, and sadly, it is lost. I just hope I did it some justice in this video. The people of Long Beach had an incredible treasure in their midst, and it’s now forever a part of history.

yeah, its not an uncommon coaster, there are vekoma boomerang’s everywhere, but the only reason I mentioned it earlier was because the shark train went MIA on the Wild expansion pack, which was truly ashame in my opinion.

You were the 1st to mention the Land Shark, lol. Had to use the hex editor to recover it to Wild. As for winning, I highly doubt that. This contest will go to the person with the best computer, I think-this park is far bigger than the Bumbly Beach contest. As for your vid, sure I’ll watch, didn’t see it in your youtube list though.

It’s good enough for me to wait till Windows 7 (touch windows) is released. I don’t want to by a computer now with Vista, when Windows 7 was just shown off this week. Otherwise I’ll be buying another computer that will be outdated in a year or so.
